Hi! I’m Sol and I host knitting retreats for knitters to gather and experience in person the powers of knitting to feel inspired, creative and relaxed.
I also started doing my own personal at-home retreats to make creative time and space just for me and it has made me so much more mindful to the benefits of knitting.
With this little ritual, I feel more in touch with my creativity and it just flows more easily in everything else I do. Now I want to help you experience it too!
So I’m offering you my little recipe in this guide to make it super easy for you to slow down, relax, feel inspired, creative, and enjoy some meditative knitting, all in the comfort of your own home.
Pause Shawl
The knitting pattern included in the guide is Pause Shawl. As its name indicates, it’s the perfect knit to take a good long break with your yarn and needles and enjoy the meditative aspect of knitting!
It’s worked with only 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn, perfect to showcase your favorite hand-dyed yarn. Its asymetrical shape will keep you interested while working the meditative stockinette stitch and an interesting geometrical lace and texture pattern.
The pattern is fully written, step by step. It has charts and written instructions for the texture pattern so you can work from your favorite option.
It’s accessible to all levels of knitters, even adventurous beginners and you can always come and ask the community for support if you need any!
